Solved issues count: 2 This post will be updated with a log of issues I am facing on upgrade. Do they test software at all? Hello!

  1. Anakonda unable to overwrite existing installation. You are forced to format, or use upgrade option which is extremely slooooooow.
  2. Realtek 8168 driver is not working, machine is off the network and summarily useless. Had to insert PCI Realtek 8139 card.
  3. Yumex has some bugs in progress window - progress bar and package count vanished.
  4. switchdesk does not actually do anything and a perfectly good KDE workstation stays Gnome.
  5. /usr/local/bin is not in the path (like in F13)
  6. Idiotic menu design in KDE, where half of the everyday applications is stuffed into 2nd level menus.
  7. No sound in any flash plugin.

UPDATE1: Issue #2 solved by upgrading kernel. That requires another NIC, or another computer and flash drive, or another OS in dual boot installed.

Issue #4 solved by erasing gdm.
