KDE God knows which version follows Gnome 3 down the toilet

KDE God knows which version follows Gnome 3 down the toilet

They are no longer even showing the version of KDE running from the Help menu of the KDE programs such as Kwrite... And that is fine! What's the point, after the "development team" or "KDE community", whatever those twits call themselves, butchered KDE beyond belief?

Why am I ranting again? Well, here's why: after installing Fedora 25 "the latest and greatest" glorious most recent version I realized that everything I was afraid of for the last few years finally came to pass. My readers remember me being frustrated with Gnome 2 turning into a smartphone-like Gnome 3 and thus becoming summarily useless POS. The same thing just happened to KDE.

I do not know and do not care what version it is now, especially that they do not care to tell us that. This new version freezes (hangs) every few seconds on my AMD Phenom with Radeon 5850 and AMD A6-3470 APU machines. Different CPU, different graphics cards, different RAM - the common thing is that they freeze. Being resourceful geek I quickly found a workaround to un-freeze the desktop: switching to the Linux console #2 and back to XOrg console #1 un-freezes it for a few seconds.

Who is the effin' moron who re-designed all Plasma applets, like System Monitor or Network Monitor? I want to find you and pull your fingers out with pliers so that you, fucking moron, cannot type on the keyboard anymore. Stop fucking with KDE code and find another way to express your idiotic self, you cunt! Instead of a compact Network Monitor which used to be customizable, we now have this billboard size of 1/2 the width of the monitor, the largest part of it being this moronic name of the interface, like "enp4s0". Both upload and download colors are the same similar shades of blue. The System monitor's bars are also indistinguishable shades of blue, be it user CPU load, system load, nice or user/cache RAM etc. Everything is the same bloody color, 456! The entire history of Linux being customizable has been thrown out of the window and we are now supposed to be happy and put up with some moron making decisions for what we are supposed to look at. Fuck you, fascist scumbags! I want my customizable Plasma applets back and I have resources to support them. They ran fine for me on a Pentium, PIII, P4 and now with AMD APU and Intel i3 I expect them to run just as fine. But you are out there to screw it up for everyone and I swear you will rot in hell for that.

As I was typing this rant, KDE froze a few more times on me...

We no longer have the features everyone is used to, they have been carved out of KDE. But there are new ones, that no one needed or asked for. For example, when the mouse cursor lowers down to the bottom of the screen, right before the panel slides up, a glowing bar appears at the bottom. Very fucking helpful! NOT!

All the icons now look about the same: either as blue squares, or black squares. The history makes a full circle back into the stone age.
